WASHINGTON, DC – Climate Leadership Council CEO Greg Bertelsen announced that the Council has hired veteran advocacy strategist Tiffany Adams as Executive Vice President. Adams brings to her new role nearly 30 years of experience working within the business community and the non-profit sector to influence public policy.
“Tiffany is a uniquely skilled leader who has an exceptional record of leading broad-based coalitions to advance a common mission,” Bertelsen said. “She offers deep expertise in advocacy, grassroots outreach and strategic communications to our campaign to promote carbon dividends as the bipartisan climate solution. Tiffany will help us unify these priorities across the organization. Her enterprising and energizing spirit make her an exciting addition to our leadership team.”
Tiffany will lead the Council’s public affairs functions, including coordination of the growing coalition in support of carbon dividends and other strategic initiatives.
“I’m proud to join the Climate Leadership Council team to help enact a carbon dividends climate solution that brings all sides together,” Adams said. “Now is the time for a bipartisan climate breakthrough that dramatically lowers emissions, drives innovation across the economy, and invests all Americans in a clean-energy future.”
Adams previously worked in senior-level positions in public affairs, member engagement, and event management at the National Association of Manufacturers, where she led numerous issue advocacy campaigns. Most recently, she managed multiple policy and industry coalitions at consulting firm Forbes Tate Partners. Adams has also run her own consultancy and has served as an executive coach, professional mentor and team builder throughout her career.
