Climate Leadership Council Welcomes Conner Brace to Bolster Policy and Government Relations Efforts

WASHINGTON, DC – The Climate Leadership Council announced today that Conner Brace has joined the Council as Director, Policy and Government Relations.

“Conner Brace adds valuable energy policy experience and relationships from across the federal government and private sector to our team. He will be an asset to the Council and our stakeholders in advancing the most effective, politically viable climate solutions,” said CEO Greg Bertelsen.

In his new role, Brace will be responsible for developing and executing the Council’s policy and government relations strategy. He will also support Americans for Carbon Dividends (AFCD), a national education and advocacy campaign that promotes the bipartisan Baker-Shultz Carbon Dividends Plan. Brace will work closely with policymakers along with industry, environmental, labor and other partners to advance the Council’s policy priorities.

Prior to joining the Council, Brace was a Senior Government Relations Manager at the American Fuel and Petrochemicals Manufacturers. He is also an alumnus of the U.S. Department of Energy, the offices of Representatives Steve Scalise (R-LA-01) and Steven Palazzo (R-MS-04), and Akin Gump, Strauss, Hauer, & Field.
