Podcast Description: According to our friend Catrina Rorke, the U.S. Carbon Advantage is alive and well. Rorke serves as the senior vice president for policy and research at the Climate Leadership Council and executive director of the Center for Climate and Trade. Once upon a time, she also worked for our executive director, Bob Inglis and has been doing world-class research on climate and trade policies for years.

The CLC recently released America’s Carbon Advantage 2025, an update to their initial 2020 report on the topic of U.S. manufacturing. American firms produce the same or similar goods as their competitors with fewer emissions. Goods manufactured in the U.S. are more than two times more carbon-efficient than the world average and about four times more carbon-efficient than those manufactured in China.
