As director of finance and accounting, Dan Lutz oversees the organization’s accounting and financial operations, budget cycle, and annual financial audits. He also provides support for internal compliance and administration and manages the Council’s cash and investment strategy.
Dan has extensive experience in multi-entity financials, tax compliance, investor relations, and acquisition integration. He began his career as an accounts payable clerk and has since immersed himself in the accounting field. His background spans working at a regional CPA firm, supporting a large moving company through seven acquisitions, and building an accounting department from the ground up for a local investment firm.
Dan earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Randolph-Macon College.
