As executive vice president and chief operating officer, Tiffany Adams leads the Council’s public affairs, communications, and stakeholder engagement functions to promote effective, fair, and lasting climate solutions. She leads the organization’s internal operations including human resources and facilities management and has select responsibilities for the organization’s financial oversight and management.
She is a veteran advocacy strategist with 30 years of experience working within the business community and the non-profit sector to influence public policy.
Adams previously worked in senior-level positions in public affairs, member engagement, and event management at the National Association of Manufacturers, where she led numerous issue advocacy campaigns.
She also managed multiple policy and industry coalitions at consulting firm Forbes Tate Partners. In addition, Adams has run her own consultancy, T. Adams Consulting LLC, where she served as an executive coach, professional mentor, and team builder.
Adams has served on the Board of the Public Affairs Council and the Women in Government Relations LEADER Foundation, where she also served as chair.
A native New Yorker currently residing in Washington, DC, Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and is a proud and active alumnus. Go Owls!
